Use Visual Content to Connect

Visuals are a driving factor in how posts stand out on social media. Among a sea of hundreds of tweets and Facebook posts, the ones that are most visually appealing achieve the highest success in traffic to their links. For example, if two companies are posting about similar products, would you rather click on the link that is accompanied by a hilarious GIF or the one that simply lists the product and gives a one-sentence description about it?


Visuals come in all different types, such as photos, infographics, videos and GIFs. Adding one of these enhancements to your posts is sure to inspire more stimulation and give you better engagement than plain and simple text-only posts. Just as the video says, visuals can help increase your click through rate and more people will pay attention to what you have to say if you have relevant, engaging visuals to go along with your content.
