P@int at the Pint House this Gallery Hop

By April 4, 2014 February 22nd, 2019 Community & Culture

The Gallery Hop is just one day away, and we can’t wait to see all that it has in store for us! One of the events that I am most excited about is P@int at the Pint House. If you haven’t been yet, let me tell you a few reasons why you shouldn’t miss it this weekend!

1. P@int takes place during the Gallery Hop. So if you’ll be there anyway, why not stop by?

Don’t tell me you will miss the first Gallery Hop of the “nice weather” season, because then you would be lying to me. There will be nothing better to do this Saturday other than to stroll the streets of the Short North. Go celebrate local, take your umbrella just in case, and stop by the Pint House; they'd love to see your face – Wait, did that just rhyme? It must be fate!

2. All of the artists invited are local, and you love local, right?

P@int offers an awesome live art experience. And they only bring the best local talent, so you are in for a treat. Come see a masterpiece created right in front of your eyes. And better yet, because the demonstration is live, you can interact with the artists and learn about their inspiration as the project progresses.

In case you were wondering, P@int originated because the Pint House lives at the heart of the Short North Arts District. And they wanted to highlight local artists and provide live art demonstrations. And what better way to do it than to offer a treat to all of the Gallery Hoppers? In that note, P@int is an all-day event; starting at 11:00 a.m., you can come in and watch the process develop right before your eyes!

3. P@int at the Pint House = Beer!

Need I say more? If you haven’t been to the Pint House at some point this past year, then you are definitely missing out. They have a great beer selection, and not to mention my favorite long glasses in Columbus. Come and have a sampler or two!

4. This month’s artist is awesome

We had a chance to talk to this month’s featured artist, Jeromy Ko, and we asked him what was in it for him. His response was simple, but interesting enough to make us want to go and see him action. He said: “A stronger immune system, improved mental clarity and well-being, and an inflated sense of ego. Oh, and free beer.”

I hope you stop by P@int on Saturday, and that you get the chance to say hi to J.Ko! If you happen to take any pictures use the hashtag #ColumBUZZ on Instagram and Twitter to show us the highlights!
